Time for our daily OPPO field trip to do what we always do, look at cars :]

Yesterday, we took the old rear engine, 4 rotary diesel, carbon fiber OPPO bus out to !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! in Taiwan. What a neat location. It varied in many more vehicle than I thought. Turns out (out a sheer randomness and for the 3rd time now) that this location was of significance to a fellow Opponaut. RiceRocketeer Extraordinair's mom is from this town :] Off the bat, KnowsAboutCar found some cool things including a Ford Scorpio which i've never heard of and a sweeet OG Saab and Alfa. Iheartmy300kHonda spotted a e28 that needs help and sharp eye to ID a Merc with Audi wheels. RazoE was on fire with the VR4 Galants! and bringing me back memories of my slow as dog shit e34 :'] 505Turbeaux spotted that clean looking car that i'm still no sure what it is, I think a Nissan. CarCrasher88 was feeling the Sweeds with a nice set of Saabs and a good collection of cars including a clean Focus ST. Also informed us that the Ford Escape is built here, but really, what isn;t made in Taiwan nowadays lol :] ArchDuke also brought back some memories of my beloved E34. Thanks for everyone who participated, always an awesome learning experience about cars and culture.

as for cars, I'll give this place a WARNING: multiple (most likely Subaru) cars may be posted, due to the size of this little town. My find is proving the point

Ours has a bad steering wheel position sensor. You can still feel the front drive come on (when reset), so that part still functions at least marginally.

that was one of the bigger boners I have seen M-B commit. why didnt they just mount the damn thing to the frame? Ha there are like 25 different things to go wrong on those and give you the 4matic light. I had a 91 wagon that just had a new tranny put in at M-B and that worked, for 6 months. Too bad that diff is obsolete and impossible to find working used for reasonable money. when that 4matic works, you cannot get that thing stuck anywhere

I have great memories from our Alaska Trip... My dad-in-law and I 'raced' up the Mt/ Roberts Trail a few hours before our boat shoved off.... Good times.

The view of 'downtown Juneau' from the upper Mt Roberts Tram station. The approach pattern for JNU goes right through the valley and then makes a quick left before touchdown.
